2006 Races/Expeditions

Don Bowers 200: January 27th - 29th (Paul and Erin)  www.mcdma.org

Don Bowers Race Update - Paul and Erin completed the first 100-miles of the race in 18 hours - about 3 hours off schedule.  The race started in -35 weather and warmed up to a balmy -20.  At the 100-mile turn around both Paul and Erin decided to cut their trip short.  All the dogs were happy and healthy, but their mushers were worried about being off their schedule and not getting back to Willow in a timely fashion to go to work the following day.

Willow Dog Mushers Weekend Trip: March 11th - March 12 (Paul and Erin)

A leisurely 45 mile strool through the woods and across the river to Eagle Song Lodge we go for an overnight get together.
